Description Relatively tall, the flowers are held well above the splayed, semi-prostrate leaves on sturdy scapes. The inner mark comprises a yellow U pointed in the middle. The ovary is a more greenish yellow and is distinguished from many other yellow forms by having longitudinal ridges rather than being smooth. As with many other similar forms the best yellow colour is seen when the plant is grown in a sunny position. A very vigorous plant that bulks up well. A seedling from a yellow snowdrop that we found growing on the roadside near the village of Babraham in Cambridgeshire.

Description A vigorous snowdrop with a yellow ovary that produces two scapes. The yellowish green leaves are almost prostrate and often develop wavy edges later in the season. The flower is held well above the leaves on scapes about 16 cm high. The inner mark is a large apple-green acute V, with yellow bleeding around the edges, that covers more than half of the segment. The colour fades to yellow-green as the flower matures.

Description A strong growing hybrid with a green ovary and a golden yellow, narrowly pointed V shaped inner mark. Distinguished from other similar snowdrops by the subtle diffusion of yellow colouration from the apical mark towards the base, forming pale yellow upper arms of an X-shape. In some years may show ‘colour change’ characteristics.

Description A late flowering yellow marked snowdrop. A small but pretty snowdrop with a bright yellow mark contrasting with stiffly splayed blue-green leaves. The ovary is yellowish green and the pedicel yellow. There is a small yellow patch where the pedicel joins the ovary. Often still in flower well into March.

Description A member of the 'changeling' group of snowdrops. A strong growing hybrid with a green ovary and a golden yellow inner segment V-shaped mark when the flower is mature. The mark may start pale green and gradually turns yellow as the flower matures. Large bulbs produce two scapes. The main flower often retaining a greenish mark with the second scape flower bright yellow.

Description A very beautiful hybrid snowdrop flowering at the end of the Christmas period or early January. The outer segments are broad, rounded, incurved and of thick substance. The light texture is reminiscent of goose down. The inner segment mark is a broad, slightly curved-up inverted V. Mature bulbs produce 2 scapes.

Description A very vigorous and beautiful late flowering hybrid with nicely textured rounded flowers. When in bud faint green lines can often be see on the ridges of the outer segments but these tend to fade as the flower develops. The inner mark comprises a broad dark green U diffusing towards the base with two paler diffuse ‘eye’ marks near the base. The snowdrop produces two scapes and usually has three broad semi-prostrate leaves. Named for the second full moon of the year to reflect the late flowering time.

Description A very vigorous and beautiful snowdrop that begins flowering during January. The large rounded flowers are of thick substance and are held on a long arching pedicel.
